My Journal -- May 2008

May 1, 2008

I got up early at past 6. Since it rained last night, I did not sweep in the buladan immediately. I just drank coffee while conversing with Aileen.

Upstairs, I stayed only for a few hours because I was called by Papay Benson at past 8. He directed me to buy food.

In the market, Marites B, my classmate in RGCC, called my name. I never noticed her though she was in front of me. I was glad to see her again. Later we were conversing in the middle of the passageway. I have learned that her fiancé is an American national. I also shared with her my life accounts such as my kids and my plan of schooling. I also asked for her number, but the most important thing that happened was I had told her about my diploma in ROTC, she kept.

At ten am, while cooking, Auntie Helen announced through text messages that Auntie Belen was in the hospital due to a heart attack. I immediately relayed it to Papay Benson.

Mj texted me after lunch. She said that Hanna and she had been in Bautista because Calove bought cashew seed from Mama. She also told me that my loving mother gave the money to Hanna. Later, she encouraged me to go back to Antipolo by the fact that Calove planned to go out of town, specifically in Laguna on May 15. I did not promise but I told her that I want, and I would like to join.

At four, after re-sacking the palay, I stayed upstairs. Myles texted me. She asked me the whereabout of my mag-iina.

At five, I prepared our dinner.

At past six, Auntie Leny arrived. I then related to her about Auntie Belen’s condition. She was so sad. Later, I texted Auntie Vangie and Kuya Eric. I asked them about Auntie’s condition.

Kuya Eric replied to me at past 6:30. He said, “Ms mbuti na sya ngaun kesa nun una, bale nalpat na sya d2 Heart Center.

I said we must pray for her. He thanked me. And he asked for a favor. He thought I was in Antipolo that he wanted me to shift him in looking over his mommy.

Auntie Vangie replied at 8;30. She also announced the same good news.

Mj texted me at past seven. She inquired what I was doing. I also regarded my kids. She said that Zj was dancing. Hanna was playing. I was so glad for my smart kids. I told Mj later that she must teach Hanna to write her name.

Efear and I pursued texting. It was 10:48 when we ended up saying ‘Gudnyt!” because I was already sleepy.

I thanked God for all the blessings he gave me. I also asked Him to heal Auntie Belen and let her know that she has done many wrong deeds for others. Then, I asked for pardon for my sin.

At past eleven, I was already on a REM, but due to allergens that made me cough, I had been awake for almost one hour. It was also when Taiwan texted me (11 pm). He said, “2l, puede b kmi jan? Nhi2rapan n kmi mkisama d2 eh. Ok nba ung bhay ntin? Txtbck.”

I replied, saying “Ms mdali k kumita d2. Pwd k mkkuha ng upahang haus. Sa Polot? Hnd pa un ayos, pero pg and2 n kau, pwd nman nting diskartehan pra maipaayos.”

I was glad for he at last decided to consider living in Bulan. But I got frustrated when he said “Gnun ba… cge… My utang p kc aq ky Mam. Cguro pg ntapos q na. My tricycle b cla jan?”

Yet I pursued encouraging him by telling him these words: “Meron. Hindi binibiyahe. Mrami cla bangka. Bsta mrmi pwd pagkakitaan d2.”

I thought it was past 12 when I fell asleep.

May 2, 2008

When I rose up at 6:45, I immediately did sweeping task, while drinking hot coffee. Then after breakfast, I went upstairs and did writing.

Later, palay work made me busy.

At nine, I was sun-drying at the passageway to Bulasu

The sun was terrible. Kit made me sleepy. Thus, after lunch, I took a nap in Aileen’s house. I woke up to see the palay in twenty minutes interval.

I thought it was two pm when Boboy tried to wake me up. I did not response because I was awake. Then he texted me, “Oi magtipon na daw.” I got up. I saw the dark clouds up in the sky. I went to the buladan and noticed that the palay was already gathered. I did not know who it did, but I saw Boboy sitting in the tricycle which was meters away.

I was not talking to him; thus, I did not ask him for help. Yet I was hoping for it.

I re-sacked the palay alone in the middle of tremendous heat. I was so furious with Boboy.

When I finished re-sacking 3 sacks, Kuya Bambi arrived. He called out Boboy. It was only when he came near us.

However, after he just helped a few in sweeping, he dilly-dallied. It irked me much, as if he was so tired.

Thus, my endeavor was affected. I wanted to walk out. Good thing, I had controlled myself. I still helped in securing the sacks of palay against possible downpour of rain.

I took a rest after that. At four, Kuya Bambi and I re-sacked the palay in the buladan inside the premises. Later I took a rest again so that I could take a bath.

Before six, Auntie Leny asked me if there was news about Auntie Belen’s condition. I was forced to but load.

Later I was texting with my friends such as Padi Glenn, Myles, and Bee. My cute cousin, Klyn replied as well.

Before 8. Matet texted me. She announced that she never found my NROTC diploma. I, however, hoped for it, thus she promised she would look for it again. And before she said a farewell words, I have told her thar I was glad for her because she has an American fiancé. I also wished that they would have a baby soon.

Before I went to sleep, I replied to Terry Fe’s text messages. We talked about her job search, my schooling plan, and many more.

May 3, 2008

Immediately, after waking up, I swept in the buladan. However, it had been useless because Papay Benson said “Wag na mun-a magbulad.” It was favorable for me. Instead, I was directed to do marketing.

Very early in the morning, Divina texted me because I greeted her. Later she opened up about her love problems. I gave her advice. Then she thanked me and promised me that she would introduce her soon-to-be bf to us, her batchmates.

While cooking, Efear’s half-sister asked me if I wanted to converse with her through unlimited texting. Is aid so. We talked about nasty topic which was my first sexual intercourse with a woman. She enjoyed asking questions about it and some related ideas.

We pursued texting until afternoon. It happened while I was doing or accomplishing chores and Papay Benson’s commands.

I could say now that she; comfortable talking to me through text.

Mj texted me at eight. She asked me if I would be in Antipolo. I confirmed that I would be. But the problem was the fare going back here to Bulan. And after a few replies, she got angry. I thought it was because she had learned from me that I would be in Sucat to bond with Efear and Shane before they go to Laoag City. I stopped texting.

Later, Diyang texted me. She asked me if I wanted to pray Tito Zaldo over, who has an inflamed face. She also said compliments to me such as ‘U save me” and “Effective ang prayer nu ni Ate Quennie.” It was past 9:30 when she said “Gudnyt.”

Immediately, I prayed to God. I asked Him to heal Tito Zaldo, so as Aunite Tita.

May 4, 2008

When I woke up, I did not sweep in the buladan. It was because I decided to go to church. However, I changed my mind. Since I was planning to go to Antipolo City this coming week, I might not be permitted by Papay Benson if we would have lot of undried palay.

Thus, at nine, I had already scattered the 11 sacks of palay. But before that, I told Papay Benson about my plan of leaving Bulan. It was when I was de-scaling the tilapia fish. I told him that I would sun-dry those so that I could have pasalubong for my family. He asked, saying ‘O, dri mapa-enroll ka?”

I said that I would be back before fiesta.

At ten-thirty, I was cooking. While doing so, I was replying to Bee’s text SMS. I have learned that she’s a Roman Catholic and at the end of our conversation, we have agreed upon that whatever religion we are into, the most important thing is we have only one God, who is Jesus Christ.

Later, Efear and I texted each other. He said that he was sound tripping.

Before two, Kuya Bambi and I started re-sacking the palay due to cloudy weather.

At past two, I read my Inbox. One of the messages therein was the invitation from Noemi. I replied “Im sori. Dri ako mkattend ky ngbubulad kmi paray.” Alas! I missed their fellowship.

I took a nap after re-sacking all the palay. I took a bath at past 4. Later, I escaped from cooking. Instead, I went to Pon-od Bridge and stayed there for a while.

At past five, I went to Ate Quennie’s house. She immediately offered me snacks. And while eating, we conversed. Our conversation was, as usual, lively, we put God in the middle of our talks. I shared some of my life accounts. She did, too. But the most interesting topic we talked about was the abandoned house nearby that she’s planning to buy for me and Mj. Wow, I was amused.

I went back home at 8 happily.

May 5, 2008

Like I was always doing every time I could peep the happy sun, up there, I swept at the buladan. I did it while having hot coffee-milk drink.

Past seven, I stayed tutoring Jasleen. I taught her how to read homonymous words, how to count and add coins and bills denominations. After more than hour, we stopped it. Later I scattered the palay to be sundried.

Nine-thirty, I did marketing. I immediately prepared the fish. Later, Ate Jennilyn took over the cooking. Good thing, it was because Mj and I were texting.

My announced that after attending Samantha’s birthday, they’re about to attend another party at MC Do. I was glad that they’re invited. It would be added to my kids’ experiences. Later she confirmed if I already asked permission of leaving to Papay Benson. I said yes. And before we end our conversation, she said “Mis ka n ni Hanna.”

Contemporarily, Marjs was texting me, too. At that time, I teased her which made her irritated.

Manoy Muybien arrived, thus I didn’t care anymore in ‘pagkugay.’ However, I made sure that everything was fine. I still did something about the palay.

One-thirty, I tutored Jasleen again.

Two, we re-sacked the palay due to the cloudy weather. It was three when we’re done.

After taking a bath, I left home. It was 4:30 PM. I biked through the market to buy notebook for my journal. In the Roman Catholic church patio, I wrote my journal entry. I biked around the patio, as well.

Six-thirty, I was home.

I went upstairs early. I think it was 9 PM.

May 6, 2008

At six, I rose up. I immediately did the usual sweeping job. Later I stayed at Aileen’s garden. I envied her.

At past eight, I started tutoring Jasleen. It was our second day. I spent one hour with her. After that, scattering of palay came next. At ten o’ clock, we studied again. I taught her how to add 3-digits of money to 2-digits.

Since Kuya Muybien was there, I was free to watch TV. I did it at Aileen’s house.

At three-thirty, we’re done re-sacking.

At five-thirty, I went to Bulasu. Ate Quennie was there, Delon as well. Later we conversed. Before I went back home, I helped her make two request letters. I also committed to her that I would tutor Charity tomorrow.

Ate Eiza texted me at past 6:45. She announced that Auntie Belen was about to be operated tomorrow in Philippine Heart Center. She wanted me to tell it to Papay Benson. I replied, “Ok po.” I told the news with them later when I got home.

Marjs and I texted at 9:30. We talked about his husband and my change of career.

Papay Benson won P4,000 in jueteng. He gave me P100 coins.

Before I slept, I prayed to God. I asked to help Auntie Belen in her upcoming operation.

May 7, 2008

As usual. I did sweeping task while taking hot drink immediately after waking up. Later, I prepared myself in tutoring. And at past eight, I began teaching Charity and Jasleen. Teaching them together was a total hodgepodge. The two teased each other

At quarter to ten, Auntie Vangie inquired. “2mawag b sna Eiza sau kgbi?” I replied, “Ngtxt lng po.” I also told her that we’re all asking what operation was about to be underwent by Auntie Belen. She said angioplasty. She added, “3 arteries kc ang ndamage kya ddugtungan ng plastic.” I told her that I prayed for Auntie Belen last night.

At past twelve, dark clouds pushed us to re-sack the palay early. It was favorable. Thus, I have had an early rest. Later, I was taking a nap at Aileen’s sala.

After merienda, I took a bath. Afterwards, I stayed upstairs. I didn’t know if I have had forty winks. It was past 6 when I went downstairs.

At six-thirty, Flor texted me. She announced that Hanna was with them in Bautista. She said, “Cnundo quh, kc bnyag ng anak n Ate Jcka s Linggo.”

Later I stayed in Aileen’s sala. I have been a potato couch for more than hour. I supped at past 8.

At quarter to nine, I texted Kuya Eric. I regarded Auntie Belen’s angioplasty operation taken place this day. He replied, “Here’s d update: Mommy’s operation was done already. It took 2hrs. And it went good. So far, she is in ICU rm for 24hrs monitoring & recovery from operation. Thanks!”

I answered, “Dat’s indeed good news 4 ol of us here. Thnx.” Then I forwarded his text message to Auntie Leny.

Mj texted me, too. We talked about Hanna and my trip to Manila. She wanted to make sure of it. I told her that I might not hitchhike to Kuya Jape’s truck on May 9 due to his two pahinantes. We couldn’t be accommodated of the vehicle, if we’re four in all. However, I might, if one pahinante goes back to manila after Legazpi delivery. Kuya Jape wanted to stay in Bulan for one day.

At past ten, Marjs texted me. I asked why she always did it very late at nighy. She said, “Nakatulog ako, kc naglaba ako.” Then later we talked about her plan of working abroad. I gave her nice words of encouragement. She thanked me. I’ve also learned that she lost her love for her husband. However, she doesn’t tell me the reason. We say goodnight to each other at 11:30 pm.

May 8, 2008

At six-thirty, I was already sweeping at the buladan. After that, I felt sleepy. I wanted to go upstairs. Before I did, I first stayed in Aileen’s dining area and in her garden. I went upstairs when I indeed took the anxiety anymore.

When I went downstairs, I scattered the palay. Later I did cooking task. Aileen did the marketing.

After lunch, I took a nap in Aileen’s sala. Later I went upstairs. I didn’t want Kuya Jape to see me lying down there. Past two, Charity woke me up. Thus, I was forced to tutor her. Jasleen was not present. It was so favorable. I taught her the different kinds of shapes. I found her confused of circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. She interchanged them to each other.

Before six, I went to Bulasu. There, I related to Ate Quennie her daughter’s attitude in my class. She also related their recent drama.

Before eight, I was home. On the way home, I texted Mj. I said, “Mj, 2loy aq. Ksma aq s trak pro parang Sunday p ang uwi.” She didn’t reply.

May 9, 2008

After sweeping at past six-thirty, I went back upstairs. I did nothing there.

At past 8, Mj sent this to me: “Pnta q s nu ngaun. Kung 2loy k uwi dun k n lng dretso s Bautista.” I replied ‘okay.’ Then minutes later, I went downstairs to eat.

Later I scattered the palay. After tending them, I taught Jasleen to read. She read ‘Snow White and Rose Red.” Before we’ve done the story, she cried twice. She was anxious to end the reading, but I didn’t permit her to finish the story yet.

I went to Bulasu later to fetch Charity. However, she was not there. According to Lolo Gurang, Ate Quennie was in the market.

After lunch, I looked for a cold place where I could have a nap. I went to unfinished house of Ate Ningning. However, I never had a tight sleep due to flies’ disturbances. Thus, I went upstairs. Though, I never had a tight sleep there, I have had a rest somehow.

At past 3, we re-sacked the palay. Later, Charity arrived. I tutored her. Good thing, I have taken a bath already. It lasted for almost one hour.

Padi Glenn texted me at 7 pm. We later talked about enrollment. He has learned about my trip to Manila on Sunday.

Marjs and I texted until 11 pm. Whew! It’s unbelievable!

May 10, 2008

I got up at 7;30. At eight, I was at the Cristina Rice Mill in Aquino. I was home at past 9:30. Papay Benson gave us 90 kilos of rice and 40 kilos for Auntie Belen. The 90 would be divided to Tito Sam, Tito Boy, Papay Bentot, Tito Zaldo, Auntie Vangie, and Mama. He also gave us glutinous rice which was estimated to 20 kilos.

However, at past 12, I texted Flor. I told her that they must not tell Jano that I would have few kilos of rice because it wasn’t sure. I really didn’t know yet if I still have a part since Papay Benson already gave me one sack of rice.

Flor replied, “Nsav n ani Mama!”

“Bahala na si Auntie Vangie,” I said.

After lunch, I was upstairs, trying to take a nap despite the terrible heat of the roof. I stayed there for more than two hours.

At three, after snacks, I fetched Charity in their house to tutor her. I did my job. She just quitted after one hour.

At 4:30, I biked until Zone 7 boundary. Chatty was with me. Later I stayed in Pon-od Bridge while texting with Marjs. We talked about her picture and art compilation, which were lost.

I went back upstairs and stayed there until seven. I also prepared my stuff.

After dinner, I watched TV until past 9:30.

May 11, 2008

My alarm was set to 3:30 am, however it was 3 am when I voluntarily opened my eyes. I didn’t make me awake until the set time. Thus, I got up and prepared myself.

Papay Benson gave me P500. He said, “Pampamasahe mo!” I thanked him. It was an answered prayer. At least I could not be problematic of where to fund it when I want to go back to Bulan. Anytime I could leave Antipolo. I could also visit Jefferson in Sucat.

We left Bulan before 5 am.

It was my third time to hitch-hike in Kuya Jape’s van. It should have a feeling of comfort with him.

However, I could still feel uneasiness. I was quiet all the time.

My butt ached in almost 13 hours of sitting. I could not sleep, though.

At quarter to seven, we’re in Octagon. At past eight, we’re in Bodino. I have already texted Auntie Vangie about the rice. I thought Lito would be the one to open the gate for us, but it was Tito Zalddo who did it. Auntie Be and Joy were there, too.

At past 8:30, we left Bodino. I was home at past 10. Taiwan ang his mag-ina were there, too. My kids were already asleep. I just kissed them.

May 12, 2008

At quarter to six, we’re already awake. I just played with my kids. Mj and I also talked about something.

After breakfast, Mama and I went downhill—to Lolo Angel’s piggery. After thirty minutes of talking with my grandparents, I went home alone. On the way home, I saw Diyang. She regarded me. She said that she’s happy to see me happy.

Before and after lunch, I went downhill—to the kasuyan. I picked up cashew seeds. I have only gathered few because it was not already the peak season. But somehow, I could earn.

At past four-thirty, I went to Veteran’s. I bought diapers and milk.

I was the one who cooked for our dinner. After that, I visited my stuff, I left in the bags. I also selected few clothes that I would bring to Bulan.

Divina texted me at past 7:30. She said, “Oi, msta po? Mlapit na alumni ntn. Ano m ang plano ntin?”

I said, I was in Antipolo City. I assured her that I would be there, or I would go back to Bulan before fiesta. Later, I suggested “Batch 93- Be proud. We made history!” as our batch selling line like product’s selling line. She didn’t reply. But I knew she was thinking of it. I also suggested the use of tarpaulin banner, wherein we could showcase the pictures of our very first alumni homecoming, that took place last June 2003, which started the history of SFES Alumni Homecoming in our barangay.

May 13, 2008

At past eight, I went to Gate 2. I bought milk, mobile battery, and viand. Flor and Hanna were with me. The former purchased school supplies. We’re at home at past 9.

Later, when the rain has stopped, I picked up cashew seeds. I have collected almost one salop. It’s not bad.

Mama did the cooking, despite of her headache.

After lunch, we took a nap. When we woke up, I bonded with my kids. I took pictures of them. I let Hanna scribbled on her notebook. However, I forgot to give Mama a medicine. I felt guilty when Gie asked me if I bought in Gate 2. I didn’t! After dinner, I gave her paracetamol. I uttered this, “Lord, pagalingin Niyo po si Mama.”

May 14, 2008

We woke up early. However, we didn’t get up immediately. I played with my kids. And after breakfast, I went downhill and picked up cashew seeds. I have collected two salop. Later, Daryl climbed up the cashew trees. He shook them, while Mama and I gathered the seeds.

Today, I planned to go home on May 16. It’s because the plan of going out-of-town wasn’t realized. Plus, I started to spend my money for certain items. I might not be able to go back to Bulan.

We took a nap after lunch. At two-thirty, we’re all awake.

At past six, I finalized the stuff that I would bring to Bulan. I was decided to leave Antipolo as soon as possible. I already told it to Mama and Mj. Although, the latter disagreed, it didn’t hinder me in doing so.

May 15, 2008

I didn’t have a tight sleep because my back was aching. Since my arrival I could feel it. It’s indeed due to a cold weather here in Antipolo. But it’s gone when I got up.

Mj and I were teasing each other. It’s about what happened last night during our lovemaking. She has read Gobis’ test messages. I tried to make her believe that Frenel is the real Gobis. I knew she didn’t believe me.

At past ten, I was cooking pancit, since today is Sitio Calumpang fiesta.

While I was doing it, Papay Bentot came in. He asked me what my works in Bulan are. I said, “lawod” ang ‘nagbubulad paray.” He then said, “Mauli man kami. Sa 25 pa kay ma-birthday pa an apo ko. Mahatagan man kaya kami ni Manoy Benson?” I laughed a bit, like ‘Ha!’

After lunch, we prepared our things and selves. And at past one o’clock, we left Bautista. Mama said, ‘Study hard.’ I also borrowed Gie’s money (P100) because my cashew seeds were not sold.

My parents-in-law were preparing and cooking the ‘handa of Lola.’ I was asked by Nanay if how many year or years I could spend in schooling. I said one year. She agreed on me.

Since I was so sleepy and tired, I decided not to join them in going to San Isidro, where the party was taking place.

May 16, 2008

I got up at 5:00 am because I could fell stomach trouble. I came back to bed and tried to sleep back, but I failed. It’s because my kids were already awake.

At past eight, Hanna and I went to Bayan. I first inquired in Comelec if my voter’s ID can be released at that time. Unfortunately, after the clerk searched for my name in the records, he said, Wala pa, Sir.” I then went to the church. I claimed Zildjian’s baptismal certificate. The clerk there asked me or confirmed from me my son’s name’s whereabout. I said, it’s a cymbal’s brand name. She then said, ‘Musikero ka?’ I shook my head and smiled at her. She’s not insulting me. She’s just asking. Afterwards, I took pictures of Hanna in the newly built public park nearby the church. I was fascinated to the views, especially to the wishing wells. Thus, I told Hanna to have a pose there. Good thing, she did.

Later, we were in Deps Studio. I was sending the pictures to be printed when I could fell stomach upset. It was a diarrhea. Thus, I rushed home. I cut sending the pix through Bluetooth at 4o pieces. Then, I paid it, without claiming the receipt. And before we ride a tricycle, I bought Hanna’s milk.

On the trike, I was praying to God to keep me away from shame. I was twisting my butt. It seemed like my poo was on the orifice of my anus. I wished the tricycle could fly. Good thing is it didn’t put me to a tremendous shame. I was home before it came out. I found out that it was due to the menudo we eat last night. The sauce was not well-cooked. Yet I was not blaming Ka Sonny. Funny thing is we’re almost experiencing diarrhea.

Before ten, I texted Auntie vangie about my trip tomorrow. She replied, “Ha? Bnigla u aq ah bat ang bilis u nman yta wla p nga 1 wik? Hnd q p hnda pro cge ipahanda q mamya, saan u pwd pmunta d2 garment o s haus n lng? Tnxs.” I said, “S Bodino.” She said, ‘Ah. Nku wla aq d2 garment hnd n me pumapsok pag Sbado eh! Wla rn c Renoi nsa Modernwear sya 2morrow. C Nelia lng aabutan u d2 s opis k lng b sau kng sa haus n lng?” At first, she thought I said in Bodino when I said, ‘Ok lang po un.” But I clarified it. She finally understood it. She actually said, “Yes! Ok nga un pra mgkausap tau ng personal.” I was glad to know that she wanted me to see or meet.

Before one, I poo or came in the john thrice.

At past one, Hanna and I went to Bayan to claim the pictures, the rain fell when we got there. Yet it didn’t hinder us to go home early. Good thing is Meann told me to bring umbrella.

We’re home at quarter to two. Later, Tatay, Nanay, Elek, Tio Boy, and Nicole left to Bulan.

I took a nap at 3 pm.

While cooking, Jay-r texted me “Uzta?” I said, “Mayad man.” Then I rold him about my trip to Bulan morrow. Before he quitted texting, he regarded my kids and wife.

Later, Daba and I text-conversed. We talked about alumni. I’ve also learned that she’s going to be in Manila to buy cell phone accessories and what-nots for her planned cell phone business.

May 17, 2008

I woke up earlier so that I could indulge my eyes in looking at my sleeping children. Then I took pictures of Zildjian. I played with them, too when they woke up.

And at 8, I took pictures of my children while they’re being taken a bath by Mj. After that, Mj and I conversed. I pity her. Leaving them without anything was the hardest thing I could do. But I already made up my mind.

Before I took a bath at 9:30, I cut her hair and let her take a bath. I took care of our kids. I kissed them many times. And when I was dressed and ready to go, I told Hanna that I would leave them. She started to say, “Sama ako. Sama ako.” She declined to kiss me back. Thus, I told Mj to go with me up to the highway. Hanna cried pathetically. I pity her so much.

In Cubao, I looked for baggage counter in the malls where I could leave my bag. However, I found nothing. Thus, I brought it in Tandang Sora despite of its heaviness, and despite of my dizziness.

Marj sans Epr texted me. They confirmed if I was sure in going back to Bulan.

At quarter to one, when I arrived at Auntie Vangie’s house, she immediately handed me down the t-shirts, she intended to give for Papay Benson. Later Tito Rey arrived. We conversed while waiting for the viand. Theya sked me more questions about my plan of schooling and Papay Benson’s livelihood or business. I tried my best to speak the right answers.

Later, Sassy arrived, it was when were about to eat. Our talk was postponed.

Minutes later after lunch, I left their house, I was partly disappointed that Auntie did not give me money. Yet I understand her. They’re in need because they’re spending for the carpentry of their second floor. Besides, my money would be sufficient for my fare.

At past two, I was already in the terminal. I later texted Gie if her mother would be going to Bulan today. She said so. And I decided to go with them.

Later, I saw them. We’re four un all –me, Tia Letty, her sister and her nephew. I then given by Gie doughnuts. I also let her choose one shirt for Jano. I was sure Papay Benson wouldn’t know about it anymore.

Though I wasn’t blessed financially, I was blessed naman with food. Auntie Vangie gave me 3 biscuits and 2 big apples. Gie gave me doughnuts, and his cousin, Chad, treated me a Jollibee burger and cola.

It was five-thirty when the Twin Hearts, where we ride, left the terminal. But before that, Mj texted me at 4:30 pm. She asked my whereabout. She also said, “Jst tke care! Iloveyou! Hnhnap k ng kds. Pgnbbngit q ang Papa. Cge n bye.”

And at past 6, Auntie Vangie texted me. I told her what time I left and who was withmw. And at the end of our conversation, she said, “Ah ok! Sayang nga lang madalian u hindi 2loy tau ngkausap nang hus2 tpos mrami p interruption! Mrami p sna aq ibig sbhin at mlaman, d bale nxt tym n lng… Mkarating nw kau ng safe God bless u!” I thanked her.

I only ate the hamburger, that Chad gave me at eight pm as my supper. I just bought mineral water to complete my meal. Then I tried to have a cozy sleep despite of butt pain due to a long-time sitting.

May 18, 2008

We’re on the road for more than 15 hours. My butt was so tired. It was inflamed. I was also hungry. My body was sticky due to dust.

The bus’s motor malfunctioned. It caused us delay. It was past 10 when I got home. I immediately handed down the t-shirts to Papay Benson.

After lunch, I went upstairs to write journal. Later, I washed my face and extremities. At past 2, I walked through Managa-naga. Amy was not there, thus I waited too long. After 30 minutes, I decided to join the bingo players in their game. I somehow forget the anxious waiting.

I won P10 when it ended at past 6. Amy arrived minutes later. We immediately conversed. We talked about my family, her work, Frenel, and her plan of treating me when she receives her first salary.

I left her home at past six-thirty. On the way hoke, while walking, I was texting with my friends, namely Epr, Cute, and Happy. Happy and I were still texting until I got home and until I started supping.

After washing the dishes, Ate Ningning invited me to an interment in front of the house, so that we could pursue making fancy flowers.

We’re done doing so at 8:30. I went home to write and watch PBB Teen Edition Plus. After writing, I went to the lamayan and played Bingo.

At past 10 pm, we’re home. I lose P1.

May 19, 2008

Past six when I got up. Later I didn’t know what to do. I just conversed with Aileen while charging.er I was replying to Jay-R’s text messages. He said that he’s going back to Bulan in June to attend grand alumni homecoming of SFES.

At quarter to eight, Marjs texted me. She regarded the weather in Bulan and the town itself. I then asked her when she would be here. Later we’re teasing each other.

At past 9:30 am, I helped Ate Jennilyn in preparing our lunch.

At past 10, I was commanded by Ate Ningning to buy electrical materials. I was home at 12 noon. However, it’s incomplete. So, I still must go back to the hardware store.

While eating my lunch, Papay Benson gave me a plastic bag of coins worth P100, as his balato to me from his jueteng prize. I was so happy. I indeed need money.

I went back to relanse. I looked for the lacking materials in almost all hardware stores. I have completed it after hour of searching.

At two-thirty, Boboy induced me to buy gasoline for the tricycle so that he could drive for me through Polot. I was then decided to commute. After few minutes of thinking, I did!

We first dropped by to Tio Roming’s house so that I could hand over my parents’-in-law’s roll-on deodorants I bought, and they left. Then we went to Liman. Good thing, Reno and Elek were there. I asked back my drawer. However, I have to comeback for my clothes.

My expense for fuel was paid off when passengers ride on our trike. I have P35 in all. I only have spared P20 in the said trip.

I cleansed the drawer after merienda.

At six pm, I came with them to Sabang park. They’re invited to an outing-birthday celebration.

In Sabang, I missed my kids’ presences. I wished they were with me so that I could take them to different carnival rides. I knew they would enjoy like they did in the rides at Ever Gotesco-Pasig last February 2008.

We’re home at 8. And after dinner, I played Bingo where I lose P10.

At past 10, we’re all still playing. It was also when Marjs texted me. We conversed until midnight. I was the one who surrendered.

May 20, 2008

At past 7:30 am, I got up. Outside, when I sat down on long chair, I have found or seen a P50-bill. I was blessed very early today, huh!

At past eight, after breakfast, Boboy and I went to the rice mill in Aguino. We’re accommodated so early, thus we’re home at past 9. However, we went to Tahimik later and delivered the sacks of rice. We’re done at past 10.

After lunch, I cooked biko.

At one pm, I watched TV at Aileen’s house until past two.

I stayed upstairs—reading, writing. I also reorganized my and Mama’s stuff.

At quarter to seven, Mj texted me. It was delayed because she’s frying fish, but we pursue texting. I have learned that she’s problematic about milk ang household chores. I advised her to be patient. I said, ‘Wag k mgmaktol.” She asked me also about enrolment. Then I advised her to “Magpagiling ng bigas’ so that we could save from feeding our kids from the expenses of formula milk, and so that our kids would gain weight.

Daba and I conversed at past 7 about our forthcoming alumni in Polot. I told her my ideas. She also gave hers. We both like our suggestions. So, she proposed for a meeting on Saturday or Sunday.

While watching Tv at 9 pm, I was rugh-drafting the agenda we would talk about in our meeting regarding the homecoming.

At 9:30, I went to lamayan and played Bingo there.

May 21, 2008

I was home at 2:00 AM.

At nine, I got up. I wasn’t already feeling dizzy. Later after taking coffee, I started to sundry the 7 sacks of palay. I was supposed to go to the burial of Utoy, a seven-year-old boy, who died from complications, but I decided not to join.

At twelve noon, while doing something about the palay, I felt sad, hearing the children singing ‘Narda,’ a favorite song of the dead kid. I pity him. He hasn’t enjoyed his childhood. He hasn’t even experience schooling due to his epilepsy.

I couldn’t forget him. He’s always calling my name every time he saw me. “Kuya Poroy. Kuya Poroy.” It wasn’t annoying for me. It’s indeed a call of appreciation.

“Lord God, please accept Utoy’s soul. Amen.”

At twelve-thirty, Mj texted me. She said, “Ei, bukas dw uwi cla Nanay bka may padala k. Sustento u.” I couldn’t reply because I have no load. But, if do have, I would tell her that I was sorry for I’m penniless.

At quarter to four, sun drying palay was done. Thank God, Kuya Muybien was there. He helped me re-sacked the palay. He did the lifting job, too. Later I went upstairs and took a rest. I thought I have had a short nap. It was past 6 pm when I went downstairs. I took a bath.

After refreshing myself, I went to Bulasu. I was supposed to go to Ayen’s house because Papay Benson told me that the latter came in to talk to me. Thus, I decided to leave immediately. However, I realized that it’s awkward to go to Ayen’s dwellings at that time. I instead dropped by and stayed at Ate Quennie’s. there, we talked a bit. I did not stay there for long because I saw Ate Quennie’s uninterest to converse for long hour. Besides, we have nothing to talk about. She just asked me if Papay Benson has given me already money for me to be enrolled.

Speaking of enrolment, Papay Benson asked me if ‘Enrollan na niyan?” I said so. He then inquired what will I take. I replied, “Methods of Teaching.”

He didn’t promise that he would give me money morrow, but he assured me impliedly that I should have been enrolled.

Before Papay Benson and I talked, I texted Auntie Vangie. I asked her if she’s indeed looking for a laundrywoman. She replied at past 8 pm, confirming that she really was needing someone will do the task that’s not pakyawan. She wanted stay-in labandera. I assured her that I would help her to look for a perfect worker. She thanked me.

At 8:30, I’ve written a letter, inviting my batchmates in SFES to come on our meeting. It’s dated and it’s ready to be printed.

I went upstairs early at 9:30 pm.

May 22, 2008

I got up at past seven. After having a hot coffee, I went to Ayen’s house. There, I conversed to her and her mother. We talked about Auntie Vangie’s request of looking for laundrywoman. I just stayed there for ten minutes.

After breakfast, Ate Ningning commanded us to but 5 sacks of cement and chicken wire. Later, I bought alambre and viand. Boboy was my driver.

I watched TV for more than 30 minutes. Later Aileen directed me to cleanse their turtle’s pond.

After lunch, Boboy and I bought crushed ice at Bulan Ice Plant. It was my first time in that matter. Heavy job, but fun.

When we’re done to our ice thing assignment, Kuya Jape arrived. He has many loads to be unloaded out of his truck. I helped them. Geh, I was so occupied today! But it’s okay.

At past five, Papay Benson won in jueteng. He gave me P100 as balato. Later he gave me P1000 for my enrolment.  It was seen by Ate Quennie, Aileen, and Kuya Bambi.

At past six, I went to Ate Quennie’s house. We conversed over several topics. It was a lively conversation. We also dined in while talking. I bade goodbye at 9 pm.

Before I slept, I texted Amy. I told her that I already have money for enrolment.

May 23, 2008

At six-thirty, I got up. I later swept at the buladan, and while waiting for the sun to rise completely, I did laundry job. It lasted for one hour.

At quarter to ten, Padi Glenn texted me, saying that we’re postponed. Instead, we reset the enrolment on Monday.

Mj texted me, too, at ten. I have learned that Nanay and Tatay we’re already there.

The rain fell at 11 am. Re-sacking was done minutes earlier.

I stayed upstairs from past eleven until past three. I just got up to eat and to take a bath. I went back upstairs after I bathed.

At eight o’ clock, Mj texted me. She said, “Bere, kung skali n mkhngi nga q, maayos man ung haus d p rn nman kmi mkkauwi db? KC skul k?” It was after I suggested the lending of money from her Tito Jay or Tito Nick in the afternoon.

I replied, ‘Pg-usapan nu ni Mama. Bka gusto nia rn umwi. At least my mkksama k pg wla aq… Mdiskarte rn c Mama. Buy and sell, pwd cia.”

She promised that she would try. She would write instead of calling. I advised her to actualize it immediately.

Before I closed my eyes, Epr texted me. He just told me that he and his half-sister would leave to Ilocos on May 27 and his mother would not work abroad anymore. He said, “God answered my prayer.”

I prayed to God. I thanked Him and asked pardon.

May 25, 2008

My sleep was disturbed due to Boboy and Eking’s harutan. It was six-thirty. After having coffee, I helped Kuya Melvin in pushing and pulling the hand tractor to Pon-od or to Harrison’s welding shop. I pulled the tractor. It was so hard and heavy. My back ached.

Past 7:30, Boboy and I went to Sicad Rice Mill. We’re home and has delivered the sacks of rice to the buyers at past nine.

Later, I back rode to home. Kuya Melvin bought mechanical materials. We’re done at past 10:30. When I was home, I helped Ate Jennilyn in chopping the fish, she’s going to cook.

At one, Boboy and I went to tiangge. We wanted to buy something. However, the items we like were too pricey. He hasn’t bought anything. I just bought black socks for my black leather shoes.

Before we go home, we ate haluhalo and sinapot at 9-Balls Restaurant. At past 2, when we’re home, I stayed upstairs despite of terrible heat.

I just came downstairs when an applicant (labandera) came in. I interviewed her. Later, I texted Auntie Vangie. She didn’t say I must hire her, but she left the decision to Ayen. Papay Benson did not like the applicant. Thus, I texted her that we’re considering other applicants other than her.

Marjs and Epr’s half-sister were my text mates from past 8:30 to late 11:30 pm. Whew!

May 25, 2008

At 5, I was already wide awake. I failed to retrieve a tight sleep due to noise pollution outside. And at 6:30, I got up to start my day. I drank hot drink to relieve my stomachache. It was very painful. I thought of postponing my plan of going to church. However, it never hindered me to do so. Is till did. At eight, I was already on the tricycle.

In the church, I could feel God’s presence. I was so glad today.

I was home at 10:30. I immediately cooked the katipay. While doing it, Shaine or Epr’s half-sister texting with me. After I ate lunch, Epr and I text-conversed. We talked about God. He told me how his life has changed. We also talked about 666.

At four, I interviewed an applicant. I have learned that she also studied at RGCC. She said, I’m familiar to her. She also knew Nerissa Fabie, my classmate.

At five, Papay Benson won in jueteng. I was blessed with P100 coins.

Before five-thirty, I left home. Minutes later, Shaine phoned on me. We at first get ashamed to each other. We talked about picture I promised her to send.

At six, I was in Polot. I waited for Divina. It was a long wait. But when we meet, we immediately tackled the agenda. Anying was the sponsor of t-shirt printing. Daba took the charges of the shirts, and Lanielyn promised the tarpaulin printing. While me, I committed my self in personal invitation of the alumni. Many Aday and I will visit them house-to-house before June 2. We’re done at past 8.

While waiting for the trike, I talked to tia Linday and Hyde. They also knew about Epr’s plan of going or staying in Laoag City.

I went to basketball court later when I got tired waiting for tricycle in the highway. And at past 9, I hitch-hiked to my classmate’s tricycle. He’s Christopher Luna.

On the way home, Daba confirmed if I was home. We also talked about personal invitation. I promised that I would give her the list of sure participants on June 1. I promised as well that I would sponsor balloons for our pakulo.

I was home at quarter to 10 pm. After eating, I wrote two letters. Here they are:

Dear Epr,

Have a nice day!

You don’t know how sad I was when we go separate ways, especially when you decided to stay with your mom’s place. But I realized that you would be in good state if you’re with your mother, who has been separated from you for many years. Her unconditional love is what you really needed.

I’m glad now. At least you find the right path. You’re with your family. Most of all, you have been acquainted to our Christ.

Be happy with them. Love them, the way they love you. Share with them the words of God.

I won’t be sad no more if we’re far away from each other. What matter is we continue communicating. I knew we’ll still care for each other despite the miles. I swear, I’ll always be here for you. Text me if you need someone to talk to.

Goodluck to your newly found life.

God bless you!

Poroy,

Dear Bee,

Greeting in the name of the Lord!

Friend, I enjoy text-conversing with you. I found you nice and sweet girl. Keep it up, though we couldn’t have a bonding moment yet. I know someday, we’ll see each other.

We must thank your brother because he introduced you to me or vice-versa. I’m also thankful that you’ve been a good sister to him. For sure, you’ve been one of the reasons of his change.

We also must thank God that he has accepted the reality of life. He has now found the blissful life he’s wanting before.

Bee. Love your brother unconditionally. Understand him and his shortcomings. He’s someone who thinks for you and your family’s behalf. Don’t count the days you’re separated with him but count the days you shared laughter with each other.

I admire your closeness. I’ve never seen siblings with that kind of rapport. Stay sweet as you are.

Take care!

Froilan,

May 26, 2008

I was forced to go up at past seven because I overheard Papay’s Benson’s call on me. Then, without even drinking coffee, Boboy and I were commanded to buy gasoline and nylon. Aileen and her kids came with us.

It was past 8 when I ate breakfast. Later, I texted Padi Glenn asking him if we would go to RGCC to enroll. He said that our school was busy preparing for general alumni homecoming on May 27. Thus, I decided to enroll on June 2. Instead, he invited me to join in the reunion. I okayed, then I texted Meann.

At ten-thirty, Boboy and I went to tiangge. I bought bag. But before that Mj texted me. She asked if I was already enrolled. Later, she told me about the letter she wrote. She said,” Ah, ok… Nkgwa n q sulay ky T2 Nick. Ky T2 Jay p. D q p maitrnsfer kc bili p q papel ska nvlop. Kya lng bgo n addresss ni T2 Nck, kya ask q ky Tita Lo.”

I said, “Nice,”

Before we left home, I went to a photoshop, where I paid P14 for my 2.5R picture and my kids. My picture is intended to be sent to Epr and Shaine.

At past 11:30 am, Ate Quennie texted me this: “Helo! Pwde tbi pkbisita man sa blay kay nagptrabaho aq kan Tio Bebot wla c Delon. Yadi aq s Matnog. Ty.”

I replied that it’s okay and I’ll be there.

I just ate lunch and went to Bulasu. I was so sleepy after more than one hour of staying there. My head was aching, too. So, I left home at past 2 pm. I went upstairs and tried to take a nap. Minutes later, Charity disturbed me. She’s inviting me to go to their house.

I went downstairs when Jasleen and Jing followed Charity. The three girls played upstairs. I took a bath instead. After bathing, I went to Bulasu again. I just stayed at Ate Quennie’s house for few minutes and then I went to fishpond. There. I enjoyed sight-seeing.

At five-thirty, I went back home. I stayed upstairs.

After dinner, I was texting my RGCC friends and classmates. I induced them to join RGCC alumni homecoming tomorrow night. Some confirmed their attendance. Some were not sure.

Then, I prepared my stuff for my lakad tomorrow to Polot.

May 27, 2008

At five-thirty, I was awakened by Manoy Dan’s call, but it’s okay for I slept early last night. I have completed 8 hours of sleep somehow. I got up at six.

After 30 minutes, I left Zone 7. Before going to Polot, I went to RGCC. I registered there for tonight’s affair. Then I texted my classmates. I told them to register, too.

At eight, I was already in Polot, particularly in Many Aday’s house. We immediately left to start the visitation and invitation. We first looked for Nonoy M. He’s not there. Then we went to Albert V’s house. He signed on my paper, as a confirmation of his attendance.

Before nine, We’re at Buere’s residence. Jimmy was then sleeping/ He was forced to get up. He entertained us, his mom, too. Then after few minutes, we went to Quirino. The three of us went to Rian B’s house. It was my second tine there.

We convinced Rian to join. I tried my best to induce her. Good thing, it worked. She signed after a long hour. Then, she came with us in going to Romeo G’s house. the latter was not there. We, however meet him on the way to Liman. He signed.

Rian came with me and Many Aday until the latter’s house. We lunch there after few minutes upon arrival. Then, one, after conversation, we left Many Aday’s house. We went to Dindo C’s dwelling. He’s not there. Instead, we dropped by at Lusi’s house. He would join the reunion.

On the way back to Polot central, we met Divina. She conversed with us. We talked about alumni. Then I accompanied Many Aday until Polot central. While waiting for tricycle there, I stopped over at Joelynda’s house. I talked to Tia Linday and Joel.

I left Polot at past 3. When I was home, I was texting with Epr and his sister. They’re on the trip to Laoag City. I have told Shaine about my letter for them awhile ago, when I was yet in Polot.

Kuya Bambi told me to come fishing in their newly painted boat—Bambi. It was my first time in the ocean; thus, I said yes. Besides, I need money for our June 10 reunion.

After staying upstairs, I went down at past 5 to take a bath. Afterwards I visited Bulasu. I left after five minutes.

I helped Ate Jennilyn in food preparation. She did the cooking job.

At past 7, I left Zone 7. I talked to Nonoy G first. He would also join the alumni in RGCC. There, I waited so long for my classmates’ arrival. I texted them one-by-one. Mean said she’s not going to attend. Irene said “D2 ako Irosin.” She too failed me. Tina did not reply. Amy had a hard time asking for parental consent. Padi Glenn wanted to come over when our classmates were already present. Only Bernadeth and Sharon who arrived early. We made a group in one table with Bernadeth’s batchmates. It somehow made me glad, however I was still looking for others.

I tried to enjoy. I talked to Sha and Bernadeth. Later when Sharon left to see her husband, I also left the group. I then joined Nonoy. He gave me beer to drink. I quaffed it until I saw what I wanted to see. It’s the guts!

Before I finished my beer, Padi Glenn and Padi Christian arrived. It was already 10 pm. After some few talks, I proposed to Glenn to buy beer. Bad thing, the mini store inside the campus was running out of liquor. Thus, we had to buy outside.

I paid for 3 bottles of beer alone. It’s okay. It’s only P100. What matter is I enjoyed the night though I got disappointed. I have got nerves.

While conversing with my classmates, I was replying to Happy, Epr, and Shaine’s text messages. The latter was the longest text mate of mine. We texted until late 11 pm.

I didn’t dance. I just sat down—drank, texted, talked, and watched. What a boring night for me!

May 28, 2008

At twelve-thirty, I, Nonoy, and his uncle—Tirso G, left RGCC. Good thing, Tirso has a motorcycle. We didn’t have to walk home.

It was one o’ clock in the morning when I arrived home. Thus, I decided not to knock on the door. I might disturb their sleeps. Instead, I laid a cut plywood and unhang a beach towel then I lied down, despite the presence of mosquitoes.

I got up at five-thirty, and immediately went upstairs. I texted first my friends, who have just arrived in Laoag City. Then, I tried to sleep. At eight, I was already wide awake. When they’re gone for various reasons, I cooked my breakfast.

At ten, I showed off with them. I brushed Aileen’s window grills, while sun-drying palay.

Before one, Mj texted me. Then, I regarded them. She said, “E2, my lgnat c Zj dhl s plema, pnainom q n oregano ska pnausukan q n, ska problem p rn ang mlk!” I pity them. Thus, I confidently said, “Hyaan u, pg ngjackpot kmi mya pdalhan q kau.” And I told her that I would go fishing.

Then I remembered my dreams this morning, they’re about dungs-- sticky dungs. They sat that dung in a dream means money in reality. It made me confident to come fishing on a first timer, Bambi boat.

However, after few minutes, I’ve heard a devastating word from Papay Benson. I knew it’s my fault. I didn’t help in preparing the stuff. But he didn’t know what I would do after or on post-fishing.

I really didn’t want to join fishing in Samar with the unfamiliar faces. I heard that there’s a clandestine happening every time there’s a long-distance fishing. I might be harmed. However, it hurts me much. Papay Benson’s words were so unfair. Thus, I tried to sleep. Good thing I have fallen asleep. It was four when I woke up. At four-thirty, I got up to take a bath.

I have no feelings anymore towards my uncle. Besides, I have told Mj about it. And she understood me.

At past five, we went to the market. Boboy and I roamed around the tiangge. We window-shopped. When we’re home, I cleaned the fish. Ate Jennilyn did the frying. Instead, I played with Jasleen and Jingjing. They both enjoy with me. However, I was tired because they love being lifted up and thrown.

After dinner, we went to Sabang Park. I roamed around alone. I also played Bingo while I lose P27. It’s okay, at least I enjoyed the night.

There, I was approached by Oliver M, my college classmate and pal. He regarded my work. I answered “Mag-iiskol ako.”

We go home at past 10.

May 29, 2008

After getting up at 6:30, I swept the clutters in the yard. I also did it in Aileen’s yard. Later, I steel-brushed her window grills. Then, we brought it to welding shop to be repaired.

Before I started washing my clothes, I helped Aileen’s carpenter in doing some works. Then, I have received P100 from her. I was so glad.

I was done doing laundry at 9:30.

Shaine phoned on me at 1:35 pm. It was an unexpected call. It was the second time. She told me that Taiwan and she were texting, too. The former was makulit, but according to her, I was more makulit than my brother. It means I’m more entertaining of funny than him. Is that why she loves talking with me over the phone?

Later, Boboy and I re-sacked the palay.

Afterwards, I spent time watching television.

At four, after I took a bath, Papay Benson directed me to do marketing. Boboy drove the trike for me.

I did the cooking. After accomplishing the task, I went to Bulasu. Ate Quennie was problematic abour slaughterhouse’s drainage and sewerage system, which was polluting the air. Later, she told me to make a placard. We do the words together. I did the writing. It said, “Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hanapbuhay n’yo’y mga baboy! Ang sama naman ng amoy. Hatid n’yo’y kamatayan at hindi kabuhayan. Wag n’yo namang kaming babuyin. Tao rin kaming may damdamin. Kaila n’yondiringgin ang aming mga daing? Aksyon n’yo, kailan darating?”

She liked the outcome.

We supped while talking. We talked about teaching strategies. I also shared some God’s words.

I left Bulasu at past 9.

Epe asked for load. Thus, I bought him. I also bought for me, so that I could reply to Mj’s text, she sent at 7:08. She said, “Ei, msta? Wat f makauwi uli kmi jan dis June?” I asked her why. She said that Meann wanted to go to Polot. I was thinking the expenses it would give us. My said, “Sagot nman ni Meann e.” I still disagreed. I told her that I don’t have savings. She however was not sure if Nanay would permit her. Is aid, “Wag na kau sumama!” She quitted replying.

May 30, 2008

At past seven, I got up from bed. I immediately cleaned the fish. Later I ate breakfast. Afterwards, I steel brushed the grills. I pursued that job until noon. I had also painted it with metal primer.

At one PM, we sang along. Nonoy G, Ate Jennilyn, and I were the wannabes. I sang my favorite songs. I got a perfect score in “Unwell” and 99% in “Welcome to my Life” and “She Will be Loved.”

Before three, I quitted singing. I must take a bath so that I could join them watching Padaraw Festival Street dancing competition.

We left Zone 7 at past 3:30 PM. In Zone 3, we have had a better view of the dancers. I saw some of the taga-Polot performing their stunts. I didn’t like their costumes and choreographies. I however took pictures of them. I also took photos of Miss Bulan and her runners-up.

We’re home at past 4:30 PM. After merienda at past 5, I went upstairs and tried to nap. At seven, Ate Jennilyn looked for me. I then helped her fry the fish.

No one invited me to go out for a gimmick tonight. Thus at 9 PM, I decided to sleep. I have no hurt feelings. It’s okay. Besides, I was penniless.

At nine-thirty, Mj texted me. She asked if I was in Sabang. Then, I regarded my kids. She told me that Zj was so crying baby, while Hanna was always looking for me, though she knew already that I was schooling. In this regard, I promised Mj to phone on Hanna tomorrow.

Amy sent this message at 11 PM: “Froi kumadi k dd s amo ha, kay ptdihon q man ikw san suman nmo n hinimo, he5” I did not reply.

May 31, 2008

I got up at past seven. Aileen invited me to join her in taking coffee and eating suman. Minutes later, Papay Benson hailed me to buy gasoline.

I accomplished the task fast; however, I still have to go back to market for Melvin’s flat washer and nut. So, I still did.

I was home at past nine. I also have eaten my breakfast. Later I suggested to Ate Ningning the grating of buko. She and Ate Jennilyn asked for panghanda to Papay Benson.

Later, I was painting Ate Ningning’s window grills with metal primer. She gave me P40.

At eleven, I phoned on Mj. I talked to Hanna. She’s telling me of school. I let her talk. Then, I asked Mj to interpret what Hanna said. I was so glad to that conversation. Later, we text. I’ve learned that Hanna has fever. Then I proposed to bring Hanna in Bulan, when Nanay and Meann go to Polot. I also told her not to come with them. She said, “Cencia na, nagicp p q. Wag n lng. Bntayan tlga c Hnna. Yoko na naaapi xia. Bka topakin lng c Nnay.” I replied, “Cge wag n kang.” But she’s thinking of their budget when they leave Mj. She didn’t know if they will give her. I teased her, “Mglugaw n lng kau pra tipid. He he.”

After lunch, I set myself to sleep at Ate Ningning’s unfinished house. I stayed there until 4 pm. Later I replied to Mj’s text about Hanna’s stomachache. She’s vomiting. I suggested to roll a hot bottle on her stomach. But Hanna’ did not like the felling of it. Minutes later, I have confirmed that she’s alright already for she’s drinking milk.

After taking a bath at 5 pm, I stayed upstairs. At six-thirty, I went to Bulasu. I wanted to talk to or converse with Ate Quennie. However, she has two guests. Thus, I went back home.

Before nine, I was upstairs already. My texted me asking if I went to Amy’s house. I told her the truth. Later we talked about the pictures she would send to Tito Jay and how much the mailing cost.
