Getting angry is dangerous to our health. It will ruin of life.
Hypertension. If you are angry, there is a chance of raise of blood pressure from 30 to 50 points. So, the normal 130/80 might become 180/100, which is a high blood pressure.
Stroke. If the pressure of the blood goes up, the possibility of stroke is prevalent. The nerves of the brain might explode. It is termed as brain hemorrhage. It is deadly.
Heart Attack. I'm sure, you have seen or heard someone had a heart attack after got angry. Too much stress is the cause.
Eye Bleeding. It is known as hypema. Though it is a rare case but it might happen when the anger gets into your senses. And, it can cause blindness.
Aside from these, anger can lead us to asthma, diabetes, back pain, cancer, etc.
Then, how can we avoid anger?
Exercise. It is funny but it can help us eradicate the negative feeling towards someone.
Rest. Work is a stressor. So, don't overwork. Take a rest. It will lessen the stress, which makes you angry.
Be patient. Time is gold but don't be a gold-digger. You don't need to rush things especially if it gives you a tension.
Organize your thought. Make your mind in order. Avoid negative thinking. Cast away the thoughts that burst you into anger. Instead, envision solution and positive actions.
Wait. Relax. If you're mad with someone, wait for the right time before you have a confrontation or argument with him. The right time is when your breath or heart beat is already normal. So, breath exercise first.
Soliloquy. It is talking to own self. Ask yourself why you have to get mad or why you are angry. If it is baseless, don't react.
Do things worthwhile. Instead of embracing yourself with anger, why not create or innovate things that will make you smile. If your busy doing things or crafts, you have no time to be angry.
Smile. It only takes few muscles to smile while it will just upset you when you get angry. Better yet, laugh.
Always remember: There's no harm in always being calm. Keep calm and live healthier and longer.
