After our sumptuous breakfast, I told Mj to pack
things which we'll be needed y Baby Marge. And, as usual. she's been occupied.
The result was that she left Hanna's Gerber, squash necklace and Tempra. We
left their house at 8.
In Sunrock, I mean a Golden Hills where Jenny is residing,
Yoshimi was there. I was so glad to see her. She has a fairer skin, a thicker
hair, a pointed nose, and dimples. In short, she's wonderful.
Two o'clock, after Marge has awakened, we bade adieu to
them. I asked Taiwan for P20 for our fare. He, in return borrowed my black cap
(which is a gift by Ka Sonny). We we're carrying home their kettle, water-jug,
and tumbler sets, as well as his four soft drink bottles. Taijen were planning
to reside here in Bautista.
Mama and Flor were so excited to see Yoshimi, as well as
seeing Hanna. They compared Yoshimi and Hanna. I said, "Every child has a
unique feature. Hanna is beautiful! Yoshimi is wonderful!"
We waited for the anarchy couple, but they didn't arrive.
Last night, I haven't had a tight sleep. It was so
hot in there. I could not move freely as well. Thus, I could resist my
sleepiness tonight. I fell asleep without even praying to our God.
April 2, 2006
Six, I voluntarily woke up. Then, I happily greeted Hanna.
I attended her while we were having a morning sunbathing, near the door.
Then, I went down there to get the request of Nanay---
sticks. I have discovered the nicest sticks. I'm sure she'll be glad to see it.
The reason why Mj was here is that Hanna Marge will be
flaunted to Tita, who is expected to come today from Hongkong. Hanna was only a
two-month-old fetus then when Tita saw Mj. I hope she will like her.
Hanna is teething now. She could now eat semi-hard food
like cassava. She likes apple-flavored Gerber and banana-flavored Cerelac. She
partly loves orange too. All in all, she loves to eat.
Six, the royal couple arrived. They were surprised to see
us here. They abruptly woke up my sleeping baby. However, Hanna has been
disturbed. They love her, I could feel it maybe because they were dreaming of
one, too. Time will come.
Thanks, God, they brought food. We would have a healthy
dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow.
Before, I clicked off the TV, the dogs were barking. Mj
guessed that Tita has arrived already. It was 11 AM.
April 3, 2006
Five-thirty, Hanna woke up. Mj and I had a hard time
getting her (to fall) sleep again. Eight, when she re-awakened.
Nine, we bathed her to prepare her to face relatives.
Then, Mama brought her to Tita Tita. When they came back, Hanna has two dresses
given by Tita. It's worth the visit here!
Today is Hanna's day, really. Tita gave her P1,000. I was
so glad. I did not expect this. I only anticipated for chocolates. God is great.
He's so kind to the needy.
I was so excited to spend the money for Baby Marge. Mj and
I decided to bring her at photoshop to have a developed picture for the first
time. I wanted her to have an 8r picture or bigger than that.
Then, I told Mj to pack-up. Tomorrow we will go early in
'bayan' to do shopping and to treat Hanna Margaret. The money was, exclusively
for her. So, we must prioritize her needs such as dress, shoes, caps/hats, milk
and diapers.
Here in Rancho, everyone asked Mj how much we have
received from the 'new arrived' relative of my daughter. She just implied. They
must not know.
I thanked God for the blessings.
April 4, 2006
Six, I was totally
awake. I was partly in agog. Few minutes later Me-Ann arrived and told Mj to
accompany her in canvassing cakes and invitation. At first, I didn't expect we
would not be affected, I mean our plan today, by their negotiation. However,
when I asked Mj how big the picture would be, she disagreed upon the fact that
I wanted 5r or 8r. Our ideas clashed, which ended up in 'as usual.'
If only I have a
cash cow, I could buy whatever I want to buy without asking her opinion.
I've been quiet due
to what had happened between us. She left (with Hanna) without regards. But
when she came back and showed Hanna's 3r pictures and pocket-sized photos, I
forgot it. I was so happy to the outcome. I kissed immediately Baby Marge for
her photogenic pics. I could see her potential to be a print ad model or
'whatever' model! She's so wonderful!
Before I fell
asleep, I conversed with God. I thanked Him for giving me a beautiful Hanna
Margaret. I also asked Him to bless Tai-Jen and protect Yoshimi. Then, I
reiterated His promise. I set a sign-- another sign that if Mj and I would be
left this house before nine AM it was the right time to bet in lotto.
April 5, 2006
I had a very bad
night. My back ached. I couldn't sleep deeply due to terrible hotness of the
night, not to mention the closeness of our bodies while sleeping. Yet, it had
never been a reason to fret. Unlike Mj, she started to ruin my day. In just a
piece of 'pandesal', she made me feel she's not really a good wife. She's
inconsiderate. Thus, I realized she is not worth to marry. I truly could not
insist myself to love her.
Before lunch, we
raised white flags. However she still hurts me unintentionally.
Four-thirty, at
last, we went to market. There, we bought a pig's tail for Hanna. According to
them, it is good for her speaking ability. Then, we went to Super Palengke. It
was my first time to enter and shop there. We bought two picture frames,
Alactamil, 'pasalubongs' and my stuffs (ballpen, glue and shot glass). It's so
envying! I wanted to buy nice stuffs but we're out of money.
We saw Darcy there,
who is a 'dizer', while I was falling in line at the counter. Mj and Darcy
talked to each other. Mj told her to backer me.
"Oh, Lord,
thank You so much. Though, P1,000 was so easy to spend, we have fulfilled our
cravings. At least, Hanna has already had a solo 3r and pocket-sized pics. We
could now tell the whole world that she is the product of a common people like
Mj and I. Oh, Jesus, our God, please bless us again tomorrow or every day.
Amen!"

Last night, Nanay
told us that they're going to Boso-Boso. Thus, we could hitch at Ka Sonny's
pick-up. At least we could save money. So six, we're all awakened by a phone
call. Mj had already packed up Hanna's stuffs.
In Bautista, we
have no water anymore, no breakfast, no viand. Haay! But (Thanks, God!) we
bought eggs for breakfast and milkfish for lunch.
Mj and I were
always battling with each other. It wasn't getting any better. I don't want it
to happen and I'm trying to be nice to her. I just don't want to be screamed. I
hate bullying and nagging voice. I know I'm not a perfect partner but I'm not
that bad. The problem is that she has a bad attitude. I don't care if it is a
symptom of a so-called postpartum disease. All I wanted is respect! I'm doing
my all just to let her family happy. I don't love her from the very start, she
knew that. I'm doing this merely for our child's sake.
'I'm sorry,
Lord, I just couldn't accept her attitude. Yet, I'll continue to live with her
till the time I give up."
April 7, 2006
Today, there would
be a big party for Tita May.
Ten, I helped them
in slaughtering the hog. Then, Tito Sam directed me and Popoy to go to Gate 2.
He couldn't do the marketing anymore. I accepted the task not because they had
given Hanna P1000 and 2 dresses but because we don't have food and of course
the job is not that hard. I love doing it!
However, the sweat
was terrible.
Mama is the cook of
the party (as usual). I assisted her in peeling, mincing, chopping and whatnot.
I did my all so that they will realize that though I'm not that close to them,
I could be depended by them in times like this.
Hanna met Ate Donna
for the first time. I could feel that she liked my baby. Then, we talked about
something--- which proved that we are still close to each other. I'd lived with
them before, and we both like each other. We often talk. And, if I will get
godparents for Hanna's dedication, she's the one of them.
Nine-thirty, while
writing in this journal, incident occurred. Blackout! I suddenly grabbed for
lighter and candle and asked Mama if they experienced it too. Then, I checked
up the fuse boxes here and outside. I found out (in the second time of
checking) that the meter base was robbed. Thanked God Kuya Rex helped us (I
mean, inclusively the other one). Bad thing was they blamed me for I didn't
shout "We've no current here!" so that they would capture the robber.
Calove asked to dig
the hig mango tree and langka. I assured him. Then, 5 PM I get 3 cashew
'treelets' down there.
The king arrived at
11 from Tuguegarao. He brought so many onions and garlics. I hoped he
appreciates Mj and I's expenses for water supply and viand.
Thank you, Lord

We have a bountiful
breakfast--- leftover dishes, huh!
Today, I've been
very careful in dealing with Mj. I don't want her to hurt my feelings and I
don't want too either. Then, I taught Hanna to locate the poster I personally
reinvented, which has a resemblance with her. I called her Big Hanna. So,
whenever I asked Baby Marge "Where is Big Hanna?", she would look at
its direction. I could see her intelligence, now.
Mj wanted to go
home due to Me-Ann's birthday. I just blackmailed her that she could not bring
Marge. She could leave alone if she wishes to. Thus, she doesn't insist.
After letting the
TV cool down from 9 to 6 viewing, I set the VCD player and played videoke CD.
Mj and I sing along. I sang my favorite songs such as "Don't Speak' of 'No
Doubt' and 'Here I Am' and she realized why it was so. But it's not my
intention to make her jealous. I just like the song.
Tomorrow, there is
a party here in Villa Esperanza to be hosted by Tita and Tito Sam. Auntie
Vangie and Family are invited. They will see my baby for the first time.
